    Project WILD is an award-winning education program focusing on wildlife and designed for teachers and youth leaders of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The guides help students learn basic concepts about wildlife and their needs through developing problem-solving skills and exploring responsible human actions toward wildlife and the environment.

    The Oyster Festival

    The Oyster Festival takes over three football field sized areas plus four blocks and offers a fun mixture of new activities and old favorites that are certain to entertain the entire family including live entertainment, ships, artisans, pirate shows, amusement rides, and the oyster eating and shucking contest.  There will be Food Courts, where volunteer chefs and culinary pros work side by side, cooking and serving dozens of unique oyster, clam and other seafood concoctions along with traditional festival fare.
