What’s New?LINAP’s webpages on the DEC’s website have been updated to better reflect all the work being done by LINAP and local partners to reduce nitrogen. The updates highlight ongoing efforts from the various partners and provide links for ease of access to additional information. Also, we have ensured all projects have the most up-to-date information and are committed to keeping you informed! LINAP HomepageThe LINAP Homepage has been updated to give a better overview of LINAP from its beginning. It allows readers to easily get background information on LINAP, as well as, view other more detailed information about the program. It also gives direct access to our most recent monthly newsletter and, if you are not already on our newsletter list, you can click on the link and easily sign up to receive it. If you have already signed up, we encourage you to pass this e-newsletter along to others that may want to receive the LINAP newsletter! LINAP InitiativesThe LINAP Initiatives page highlights the nitrogen reducing initiatives that are being led by all LINAP partners and gives links to find more information. Information can be found on the following groups and partners:
Individual DEC Initiative Pages Pages for DEC’s LINAP related program have been created to make it easier to find initiative specific information. Separate pages for Fertilizer Management, Water Reuse Initiative, Nutrient Bioextraction Initiative, and Nassau County Subwatershed Planning are now available to view. More information on what you will find on the pages is described below. Visit each page to get more information on what LINAP has been up to!
Not All Has Changed!Our LINAP Events and Newsletter Archive pages are still available for public use. Visit the LINAP Events page to find a variety of events that can give information on the LINAP programs. Due to COVID-19 regulations, most of these events have had to move to a virtual format – which has allowed for easier participation. We encourage attendance at LINAP events! The LINAP Newsletter Archive provides links to our newsletters for the past two years. This is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about what has been happening, as it provides links to more information in the summaries of the various projects and programs highlighted.
